Welcome to NoorDhikr: Daily Dua & Adhkar ("we," "our," or "the App"), provided by BenDroid Apps. This Privacy Policy governs your use of the NoorDhikr application on Android and iOS devices. This document explains what information is processed, why it is processed, and your rights in accordance with Google Play Developer Policies and global privacy regulations (including GDPR and CCPA).

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

NoorDhikr is built on an offline-first architecture. The application does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• No Personal Identifiable Information (PII): No names, email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses, or government IDs.
• No User Accounts: No signup, login, passwords, or authentication profiles.
• No Precise or Approximate Location: We never request GPS or coarse location permissions.
• No Sensitive Sensors: No access to your camera, microphone, photos, media gallery, or device storage files.
• No Contact or Calendar Access: We do not access phone contacts, SMS, or call logs.

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

To enable offline functionality and customize your experience, the application saves the following data locally within the application's private, encrypted sandbox storage on your device (Android Jetpack Compose DataStore / SharedPreferences and iOS UserDefaults):

• Language Preferences: Selected language interface (Bengali, English, Arabic, Urdu, Indonesian, Turkish, French).
• Dhikr & Tasbih History: Cumulative tasbih counts, daily recitation completion status, and custom goal targets.
• Haptic & Sound Settings: Vibration feedback intensity and sound effect toggles for digital tasbih.
• Theme Preferences: Dark mode / Light mode settings.

This data remains strictly on your device. It is never uploaded to any cloud server or third-party database, and it is automatically deleted when you uninstall the application or clear app storage in your device settings.

4. Third-Party Advertising & Services (Google Mobile Ads / AdMob)

To keep NoorDhikr free for Muslims worldwide, we display family-friendly advertisements using Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob).

AdMob may automatically process non-personal diagnostic and device identifiers to safely serve ads, prevent click fraud, and comply with platform policies:

• Device Identifiers: Google Advertising ID (GAID on Android) or Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA on iOS, subject to permission), IP address (for general country-level routing and fraud prevention), and device model/operating system version.
• Ad Interaction Data: Metrics such as ad impressions, taps, and delivery status to ensure proper ad frequency capping.

Strict Content Restrictions: We enforce the highest family-safe ad filters within Google AdMob. All sensitive and non-halal ad categories—including alcohol, gambling, dating, explicit material, and predatory financial services—are strictly blocked.

5. Device Permissions & Purpose

NoorDhikr requires only minimal standard permissions necessary for its intended features:

• android.permission.INTERNET: Required solely by Google AdMob to fetch banner and rewarded advertisements.
• android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used to verify network availability before attempting to load advertisements.
• android.permission.VIBRATE: Used to provide tactile haptic feedback when counting adhkar on the digital tasbih.

6. Children's Privacy (Google Play Families Policy & COPPA)

NoorDhikr is designed for general audiences and is rated Everyone (3+ / 4+). The application does not target children under the age of 13, nor do we knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children. Our advertising configuration strictly complies with Google Play Families Policy and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

7. Data Retention & Deletion Rights (GDPR / CCPA / Google Play Data Safety)

Because all user-generated data (such as tasbih counts and preferences) resides exclusively on your local device:

• Right to Erase / Delete: You have full control. You can delete 100% of your data at any time by going to your device's Settings > Apps > NoorDhikr > Storage > Clear Storage / Clear Data, or by uninstalling the application.
• Opt-Out of Personalized Ads: On Android devices, you can opt out of interest-based ads or reset your Advertising ID anytime by navigating to Settings > Google > Ads > Delete advertising ID or Reset advertising ID.

8. Security of Your Information

We take information security seriously. Your local preferences are protected by the operating system's application sandbox on Android and iOS. Because we operate zero remote servers and store zero user credentials, your data is immune to remote database breaches.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect updates to our application or changes in regulatory standards. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" timestamp.
